Comfort show rotation that keeps me saneĀ

When the weather starts getting crisp and cool, all I want to do is curl on the course with a blanket, light a sweet scented candle, eat a cozy comfort meal, and watch a show I’ve already seen a thousand times. If you know me you know this is my all time guilty pleasure. There’s just something about fall that makes comfort TV hit different. These are the shows I make sure to watch every year– the ones that keep me sane when life feels a little too loud.Ā

Ā ā˜•ļø Gilmore Girls

Of course I had to start with the ultimate fall show. For some reason this show just screams fall! It reminds me of a good latte and warm cinnamon roll with a side of hugs. The coffee, banter, small-town charm, and mother daughter bond makes it the perfect fall comfort show. I like to watch in the morning or at night– whenever I want to feel really cozy.Ā  It’s the kinda show that makes life feel slower and softer, like a warm hug through the screen.

Streaming on: Hulu, Netflix, and Disney+

šŸOne Tree HillĀ

This show is pure nostalgia. I love starting it in September because it starts while they are in the beginning of the school year so it just fits. Its small-town drama, friendship, music, heartbreak, and growing up– all rolled into one. Watching it now feels like a walk in the park during autumn. Brooke Davis will forever be my girl. Idk about P Sawyer tho…  I love Chad Micahel Murray, I think he is very fine but Lucas on the other hand– not my favorite character sometimes. The love triangles, different plot twists, and drama is iconic.Ā

Streaming on: Hulu, Disney+, HBO Max, and Amazon Prime Video

šŸ·Desperate HousewivesĀ

I like to start Desperate Housewives in October because of all the suspense. This one’s dramatic, messy, and suspenseful. Also filled with major plot twists. The mix of mystery and comedy makes Wisteria Lane unmatched.Ā  I’m in love with all the ladies of the lane but if I had to choose my favorite it’s Gabby followed closely by Miss Bree Van de Kamp. There’s something oddly satisfying about watching a suburban drama with dark humor at the end of the day over a glass of wine and comfort meal. Sigh… you really can’t beat that feeling.Ā

Streaming on: Hulu, Disney+, and Amazon Prime Video

šŸ’‹ Gossip Girl

Last but certainly not least– Gossip Girl. Idk what addictive substance they put in this show because not only am I in love– I’m obsessed. This show has to be started in November because of the iconic Thanksgiving episodes, I don’t make the rules. Gossip Girl is drama, fashion, more love triangles and plot twists. Blair Waldorf is forever that girl. I used to favor Serena the first time I watched, but overtime the more I rewatch the show I tend to view her as…problematic…

Streaming on: Hulu, Disney+, HBO Max, Netflix, and Amazon Prime Video

Whether I’m cleaning, cooking, or just having a lazy Sunday, these are the shows that keep me company. They’re my emotional support TV—reliable, comforting, and always there when I need to escape for a little while.

What’s your favorite fall comfort show? Drop it in the comments—I’m always looking for another cozy series to add to the rotation. šŸ¤ŽĀ

xoxo, Hannah
